Our law firm had the honor of organizing and hosting the annual conference of ndeex.de in Athens and Glyfada from October 2-6, 2024.

The main topics of the conference in Greece included international inheritance and the inheritance of real estate abroad, but also the expansion of our network to the UK and the use of AI-supported applications in the near future.

We therefore had colleagues not only from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, but also from many other European countries such as Portugal, France, Spain and Poland, who are now an integral part of our network of inheritance law experts.

This way, we not only have the opportunity for regular and competent exchange on questions and their solutions regarding inheritance and real estate law, but we can also offer tangible and solid solutions not only for inheritance and the acquisition of real estate in Greece, but also throughout Europe, together with our colleagues from e.g. Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland or Poland.

We are also working on establishing permanent collaborations with colleagues in Canada, the US and Australia, because this can be very important and helpful, especially for the many Greeks who now live in these countries and have assets in Greece or overseas.

The highlight of the conference in Athens for us was certainly the invitation from the German ambassador to Greece, Mr. Andreas Kindl (https://griechenland.diplo.de/gr-de/vertretungen/botschaft) and his wife, Dr. Ina Weinrautner, to the ambassador’s residence on October 3 for the Day of German Unity.
